using tab key jumps from column A to k (excel 97)

    hiya

one of our users for all her excel files - when her cursor is in column A & she uses the tab key - the cursor jumps to column K.
this is for all her excel files on her pc.
it seems to be a fixed area that her cursor jumps to that column.
If its for all her excel files - I suspect its a setting shes set & configured within her excel enviroment.
If I open up the file on my pc & do the same the result is the cursor jumps to column B.

    any ideas?

Have your user select Tools/Options..., Transition tab and have her uncheck the three check boxes. The transition options are for compatibility with Lotus 123, where the Tab key behaved differently.

If that doesn't, help, try the steps described in Jan Karel Pieterse's <!post=Star Post,186893>Star Post<!/post> on the PC of the user.
