    Unprotect sheet when user clicks a certain cell (2000)

    brains not working - monday!

    I have a protected worksheet with a table of data with filters on it , what i want is when the user clicks a cell with one of the filters on it, the sheet becomes unprotected so they can filter the table, and then when they have finisehd the sheet comes protected again,

    Help!

    Rightclick the sheet tab, choose View Code.

    Now paste in this code:

    Private Sub Worksheet_Activate()
    ActiveSheet.EnableAutoFilter = True
    ActiveSheet.Protect contents:=True, userInterfaceOnly:=True
