    SQL2 vs SQL1 (2002)

With Access XP, in 2002 format, you have the options of using SQL2 (SQL 92) vs the SQL1 (SQL 89). I would appreciate a pointer to an article that would show the differences in SQL syntax between the two versions. Thanks for your help.

SQL 89 is compatible with Jet SQL, while SQL 92 is compatible with Transact-SQL, the version used by SQL Server. Go into Access help from the database window, rather than the VBE, and type in ansi sql query mode in the answer wizard box and you'll get several topics that explain the differences.
