OCX objects and others (Excel 2000/SR 1)

I have an excel template where I make use of a progress bar found in "Additional controls" titled "Microsoft ProgressBar Control, version 6.0" which is part of the OCX MSCOMCTL.OCX. I will be putting the template into a installation package that will be installed on PCs that have Excel 2000 or above. My question is do I need to include as part of the installation the OCX MSCOMCTL.OCX or is this already installed on a PC that has Excel 2000 or above?

I would include it in the installation package. MSComCtl.ocx comes with Office Pro, I think, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not in Office Standard or Office SBE.

Don't forget that you would probably need the developers version of Office or a license to distribute MS code.
