    Watermark Without WordArt (2002 XP)

Is there a way to do a watermark without the use of WordArt in Excel?
Don't know if this is a printer dependant function, I am using a HP 8100N Printer.

Excel doesn't support watermarks directly. Background pictures to a worksheet are not printed.

But there are workarounds. See the threads starting at <post#=114906>post 114906</post#> and at <post#=233260>post 233260</post#>.

There are 3rd party printer drivers that support watermarking, even if your own printer doesn't. FinePrint is such a driver, and won't interfere with your existing setup or drivers.
