Outlook's memory for previously typed emails (Outlook XP SP2)
I've noted that Outlook will remember email addresses that you type into the address bar when composing emails. Later, if you type the first few letters of that address, Outlook will provide a dropdown you can select that address.
Is there any way to control this behavior? And, can someone educate me about it a little? It sometimes happens that you also have a contact for that person, and so Outlook's dropdown offers the same name twice, one with the address you want and one with another address. The only way to tell which is which is to choose one and then double click it.
