    Full screen

Some of my web sites do not take up the entire screen of my 15in laptop. What can I do to make the page take up the entire screen?
    Thanks

    Re: Full screen

Do you mean your browser window does not fill the screen?
If so, click on the Maximize button (as below) or double click the top window border.

If you mean the content of your already maximized browser window does not fill the screen, then that is a web design issue.

in Internet Explorer you can also hit f11 to toggle between full screen mode and whatever setting the window size is. This gives the most screen viewing area, but you don't have all the toolbars, etc available unless you toggle back

    Re: Full screen

If the web page author designed the page to be a certain width, for example, by placing the content in a table with cells of a fixed width, you're out of luck. Otherwise, one of the above suggestions should help.

    Re: Full screen

    Hi,
I have just begun having a similar problem; the original web window opens to full size but when I follow a link, the next window that opens has to be maximized - all windows used to open up maximized without being adjusted. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

    Re: Full screen

Instead of maximizing, stretch the new window to the largest possible extent, and when done with it, use File|Close to close it. This should help IE remember to use that window size for future new windows. IE seems incapable of remembering "I want new windows maximized," so this is the best solution (and it's pretty quick, and works in lots of Windows applications).

If that doesn't work, post a more detailed explanation of the problem.
