    Updating Header (OfficeXP)

Our company recently changed its logo and company information which was stored in the header/view of a modified Normal.dot. I would like to go through and change all the previous Word documents with the new Header/Logo. I have about 1200 files that need this updated. Is there any easy way or macro to do this feat?

    Thanks,

    Re: Updating Header (OfficeXP)

Each document will need to be opened and re-saved. Do you really think it's worth it?? There was a thread on this some time during the past six months which had a variety of suggestions and probably some VBA code. I think the original poster ended up building an add-in that would check documents as they were opened and change the logo on the fly if needed, rather than re-open all the old docs, but it's a vague memory...
