    What is this? (Access 2000)

I have just been asked to take over a half finished database, developed by someone who has left a job, and I am trying to work out what he has done. Fortunately there doesn't seem to be much code.
    I find the following line:

    <pre>reccnt = DCount("pairkey", "Selected-Rotation")</pre>

But there is no table or query called "Selected_Rotation".

Is there anything that "Selected-Rotation" could refer to?
    Regards
    John

what happens when the code is executed, does it fail? It looks pretty obvious that it will.
Why don't you try it and find out?

DCount applies to domains, so it should be a query or a table. Have you turned on the option to show hidden objects in case whatever it is was hidden?

The code is currently within a function, that I can't see how to use either.
Option Explicit is not set, so there are undeclared variables all over the place.

The function is defined as: Function RotationFortnight(Rotation)
and I don't know what a Rotation is either.

My guess is the code just doesn't get used - either it has been superceeded, or was copied in from somewhere else with the intention of modifying and using.

There are no hidden objects called "Selected-Rotation" so I will just ignore it for now, assume it doesn't get used and see what happens.
