Updating Files in Microsoft Binder (Binder 97)

When you update the sections stored in your Microsoft Binder file, is there a way to make it automatically update the master file, (stored in a separate folder), as well?

I don't think so, but I have to admit that I haven't used Binder extensively & haven't used it at all for quite some time. For what it's worth, I found Binder to be more trouble than it's worth. The sections that are in Binder are not the same as the original files, so to keep the two synchronized, you have to either delete the old file & drag the newly updated file into the Binder or open the original file & save it inside Binder.

The only use I could really find was to create uniform Header/Footers throughout files & have continuous page numbering. You can do this at the very end when the files are finished. It may be why later office versions come with an unbind utility only.
Just my .

Thanks. I've noticed how much extra work you have to do to keep files updated and current. I just like how Binder gives you the ability to print all the different document types in a section all at once, instead of individually.
