I have several hundred files in which the "standard" style (not sure that it is called that in the English version) has been redefined to have wide margins/indents. This is most annoying, because when I insert tables or boxes, they get these attributes and usually the text disappears. I need a procedure (or a macro) that will do the following:

-define a new style having all the attributes that the current "standard" style has
-convert all "standard" paragraphs to the new style, without messing up any additional formatting that they may (irresponsibly) have been given.
-redefine the "standard" style to match the definition in, say, normal.dot

I would be willing to save the file as RTF and reopen as text if this could be done at that level.

Thanks for any help,
