    Bootlog Every Startup?

    Hi,
Can some kind soul advise how I can tell my crashy little laptop to make a bootlog EVERY startup - without manually using the bootmenu?
Surely this is a simple reg hack or tweak?
    David.

    Hi David:

    Try Bootlog Analyzer at

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Phil, but BLA only seems to analyse bootlogs.
I want something to make my boot menu default to 2 without me having to choose it, so it makes a bootlog without my intervention, whenever it boots.
I have this intermitent crash hassle & it only happens when I forget to press 2!

    Try

Edit C:MSDOS.SYS. You may have to change the attributes in a DOS window C:>attrib -h -r -s msdos.sys

    Under [options] BootMenuDefault=2
