AutoRecover Message

Help, has anyone come across this message whilst working in Word 2000- "Saving the AutoRecovery File Is Postponed", it only happens occassionally. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Re: AutoRecover Message

This message is probably generated because Word cannot find or create the autorecover file. Does it happen whilst working on shared files across a network ?

    Hi Matt:

Does http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/ar...s/Q224/0/14.ASP suggest any answers for you. The message is somewhat different, but it might give a clue.

    Re: AutoRecover Message

The AutoRecover location points to c:windowstemp on Windows 95B PC's (which should exist). Albeit the files that are being saved for AutoRecover are opened from a network location. Any more ideas ?
