    .Wav files (2002)

I've done it in 2000, so why am I have the dickens of a time trying to get a .wav file to run through the entire presentation. I put the file onto a blank slide (off to the side so the speaker doesn't show), set the timing and the music runs and runs and runs and the blank slide just stays put ... no transition to the next and subsequent slides. You read the words of a desperate woman - I have to have this presentation ready for next Saturday morning and my reputation rests on its 'schmick-ness'. Help please.

Try putting 999 in the "stop playing after XXX slides" box. You get to it by going to custom animation, selecting the sound file, clicking the arrow to the right of it, and going to Effect Options.

I'm assuming you do have an automatic transition set on the slides themselves. (I'm sure you do, but it never hurts to check.)
