    Bypass this security warning or do it another way? (2000/SP2)

    I've seen the address-related warning before, but this one is new on me. And it's really slow, it has a "delay bar" that prevents me from clicking Yes right away. Perhaps this is for added security against malware that uses SendKeys.

    I know it's possible to do what I'm trying to do - forward the current message as an attachment when this isn't my default - in three steps (VBA, then manual, then VBA), but this is no fun. Here's my code. Is there an easier/better way?

    <pre>Sub ForwardAsAttachment()
    Dim msg As MailItem
    Set msg = ActiveInspector.CurrentItem
    With msg.Actions("Forward")
    .ReplyStyle = olEmbedOriginalItem 'change to attached
    msg.Save 'otherwise the user gets prompted to save the change
    .Execute 'Triggers security alert dialog
    .ReplyStyle = olUserPreference 'change back to default
    msg.Save
    msg.Close SaveMode:=olDiscard 'close original message
    End With
    Set msg = Nothing
    End Sub</pre>

    Thanks in advance for any and all ideas and suggestions.

    Jefferson, I think that delay is a standard part of the 2000 Object Model Guard Automation Security which applies whenever code attempts to send a message. You can use E-MAPI or Redemption, but that Slipstick link also contains some links to SendKey solutions.

    Thanks, John. After posting, I was thinking maybe there's a way to add the new kind of Forward as an action to my "default" form, whatever that is. I was delaying Redemption (so to speak) to avoid the complexity of another layer of objects, but if anything is more daunting, it's trying to understand the Forms model. <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>
