    double click c: =crash

I need help here. I upgraded windows 98 to second edition, all seemed fine till I opened "My computer" and when I double clicked C: drive everything froze. ctrl alt delete won't respond. After reboot I opened all other drives; but opening C: will freeze everything.
I reinstalled and that did not help.
Any ideas out there? I would really appreciate fresh ideas to solve this.

No, it freezes. Also if I only open "my computer" and change the "view" to "details" everything will freeze "seemingly" because the computer has to access C to read how much used and free space are on the drive. What did you have in mind?
By the way ,using a dos prompt I can do anything on C:.

The upgrade was from win 98 original edition..
Both OS are the Hebrew Enabled versions.
