Keyboard Filter (Windows XP Home SP-1)

My wife was using Outlook Express last night and left her finger on a key. She states a dialog box appeared asking her too tunr on "filter key" she said yes and now it takes forever to type. Is there a way to turn off the filter key.

Go to Start, Control Panel and Double Click Accessibility Options. A box will pop up like the one below.

...or simply repeat holding down the same key.

Holding down the right SHIFT key for 8 seconds turns on FilterKeys. FilterKeys causes Windows to ignore brief or repeated keystrokes and slows down the keyboard repeat rate.

What this doesn't explain is that with FilterKeys already ON, holding down the right SHIFT key brings up the same option window to turn it off again.
