    Show Desktop (current)

One thing I miss in XP is the old Windows 98 / 2000 "show desktop" icon on the task bar. Now I have to minimize each application one-by-one to get back to the desktop (so I can start some more applications that I will later need to minimize !).
Is there a way to put this feature "back" in XP?

    Re: Show Desktop (current)

The option still exists in Windows XP. Do you have the quick launch toolbar displayed, If not right click on the task bar and selects "Toolbars>Quick Launch" By default this includes the "Show desktop" button.
The "show the desktop" option is also available when you right click on the task bar.
