    Calender Control 8.0 (Access 2002)

I am encountering the following problem whenever I try to add a calendar control to a form. A dialog box with the error message, "Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.", comes up and my programs shuts down.
I looked in my references and the Microsoft Calendar Control 8.0 was checked? Any solutions?

Calendar Control 8.0 was the version that came with Office 97; the version for Office XP/2002 is 10.0

First, remove the reference to Microsoft Calendar Control 8.0, then try inserting a calendar control again. If you still have problems, there may be something wrong with your installation of Office XP. (Do you have Office 97 and Office XP on the same PC?) Try Help/Detect and Repair from within Access 2002.

Thanks for the response Hans. I had installed Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 on my computer and it replaced the 10.0 version of the calendar control with 8.0. I had to do a repair from the disk and now it runs fine.
