Preview report appears behind forms (2000)

Is there any way of making a previewed report appear on top of all the standard Access forms? I'm using a lot of modal forms to control the user's route through an application but previewed reports (in this case invoices) seem to open underneath modal forms. Is there a cure for this?

Setting the Modal property of a form to True is in itself not enough to cause reports to be opened behind it; this will happen if you set the Popup property to True, or if you open a form using DoCmd.OpenForm with acDialog (this is equivalent to Modal = True and Popup = True). For popup/dialog forms, the only workaround I know is to close or hide them.

    Hi

I had a similar problem and Wendell suggested setting the visible property of the form to false, which worked for me.
