    A template or XLA version information (Excel 2000/SR1)

    We have a need to obtain the version of XLA's that we have installed and we are wondering is there a know method? I see that on the properties of an XLA there are avrious properties that we can set but what are the API's to obatin those and are these the ones we chould be using.

    I would not know a reliable method.

    I tried this code:

    Sub test()
    Dim oProp As DocumentProperty
    Dim oAddin As AddIn
    Dim lcount As Long
    On Error Resume Next
    For Each oAddin In AddIns
    For Each oProp In ThisWorkbook.BuiltinDocumentProperties
    lcount = lcount + 1
    ActiveSheet.Cells(lcount, 1).Value = oAddin.Name & ", " & oProp.Name & ", " & oProp.Value
    End If
    End Sub

    But it does not return the *original* creation date, since somehow Excel sets that to the date and time the macro is executed.
    Also, properties like revision number are seldomly used.
