    Out of Office - Don't reply (XP/2000)

Probably just wishful thinking but ...

Is there anyway to send a e-mail that does not trigger an OOO response? Or does anyone have any ideas on how to minimise/reduce the clutter?

    Many thanks

So far as I know a rule is your only option. After choosing "Check messages when they arrive," the next screen allows you to pich "which is an Out of Office" message. The next screen lets you elect to permanently delete it.. This will be a client side rule that only runs when you're loged in.

    Thanks John

I have noticed that this doesn't work with all messages, mainly those using non-English language text (and possibly other e-mail applications). If you try to add a second check, for example 'or with the words ... in the subject' your only choice is AND rather than OR, and that doesn't work. I've set up a rule with all of the known language variations I come across. It's working but ...

    Thanks for your help.
