I am involved in recurring meetings for new projects. I will sit in on the first or second meeting after a project launches and will then quit attending. I typically then decline the meeting notice to clear my calendar. However, this declines all instances of the meeting, past and future, rather than only the future notices. This causes me to not only lose the history but also to lose all meeting information. Occasionally, I am asked to sit in on future meetings and then have to hunt through emails or have the entire series sent to me again.

Is there any way to decline the current and all future instances of a recurring meeting while retaining the history of past meetings? Thanks for your help!
