    Book recommendations (2000)

I'm pretty adept with microsoft products, but would like to learn more about powerpoint and what it can really do to snazz up presentations - can anyone suggest an awe-inspiring book that has helped them?

I can't suggest a book - but if you have access to the installation CD for office, there used to be (office 97) a directory called ValueAdd. It had all sorts of sample presentations on it and I learned a lot by looking at them.

    Cheers

You might check TAJ Simmon's Text-FX sample for inspiration.

There's also an Advanced Animation Techniques download at MS that demonstrates some techniques you can use to create unusual/interesting animation in PPT 2000.
