    PC Temp. Sensor & Auto Switch Off?

    Hi,

    From the well known PC vendors (Dell, HP etc), do you guys know of any which auto-switch off of the PC's temperature goes too high?

    I believe with Dell only the servers have temperature monitoring.

    Have you asked or checked with the manufacturers themselves? - they should be able to give you a definitive list of current models that may have this feature.

    On my self-built system (Asus motherboard), there is an option in the CMOS/BIOS setup that allows me to disable temperature and fan monitoring. This can also be controlled by a Windows monitoring application - also available from the manufacturer.

    Bottom line - check with your manufacturer for more specific details.
