    Comments Indicator (2000)

Does anybody know of a way to increase the size and colour of the comments indicator which appears in the corner of an Excel cell to make it a bit more obvious?

As far as I know, the comment indicator is "hard-coded". It doesn't get enlarged when you zoom in. The only thing you can do to make comments more conspicuous is to select "Comments and Indicators" in Tools/Options... (View tab). But if you have many comments in a worksheet, that is not very appealing. <img src=/S/sorry.gif border=0 alt=sorry width=15 height=15>

I suppose you could also shade the affected cells so that they stand out a bit more, or position a triangular autoshape over the same general area - a macro might be the best way to do that - but either approach might adversely affect the printed output.
