    MSCONFIG????

In Windows 98 you can use "msconfig" to edit startup files. I'd like to be able to do the same in Windows 2000 but "msconfig" does not seem to exist. I've looked around in CONTROL PANEL, ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS and found my way to a listing of startup files but can't edit them there.

Is there a command similar to "msconfig", or another way to edit these start up files?

Also, is there a place I can go on the web to get a good beginners tech tutorial on Windows 2000 so I can hopefully stop pestering you guys with the basic level questions?

    Thank you,
    BH Davis

Go here and download MSCONFIG for Win2000. It is the same program used in WinXP and WinXP is based on Win2000.
