Outlook Calendar Appointment Properties (XP)

I am trying to add a label to an Outlook Calendar Appointment under the Properties and Sensitivity, where the appointment would still remain Private, but when someone else has permission to view the person's calendar, it would not show Private Meeting, but would say, Employee's Birthday instead.

Hi, IN 2000 if I right click on the appointment and then click Private, a key symbol is shown. Does this not happen in your case?

Paul, I think the poster's question revolves around the fact that once an Appointment is made Private, the title of a Private Appointment shows only as (surprise!) "Private Appointment" to any other Viewer, except if the Viewer is a Delegate who has been granted the specific Permission to view Private Appointments by the Organizer. My guess is that the poster wants the Private Message Title to show, for instance "Bobs' Birthday", without showing Bob's age or that chocolate cake is scheduled for the event. I don't know how the poster can do what they are asking, unless they duplicate the appointment, one Private with details, one public without the private details. The Outlook 2000 Help has very little about making Calendar Items Private. Seems that either they are or they aren't.

John, you are right, I did mis-read this and your comments were right on the button as usual
