    Perl Network Test Script

<img src=/S/bingo.gif border=0 alt=bingo width=15 height=22> Hello all you perl experts out there, I'd like to pick your brains for a minute. I would like to develop a script to be able to send out a file over our lab network to test the efficiency of our test lab. I was thinking that Perl would be the best choice, however I am new to Perl. Any suggestions?

    Thanks. <img src=/S/clapping.gif border=0 alt=clapping width=19 height=23>

    Re: Perl Network Test Script

Can you explain your environment a bit more? Would this be a browser running a script on the web server, or a command line script?

I've never learned Perl, so for the first I'd use ASP, and for the second I'd use VBScript, which in a sense is the same language running on two different hosts.
