Drop Down Boxex (Excell 2000 PRO)

I have two very simple issue when I am creating a table in Excel how can I do a drop down menu that will give options such as Yes, No, etc to that without writing a macro? Also is there a way to create a number field that will increase each time a new copy of the form is open? I worked with Access a little and learned how to do these tricks on a database but no clue on Excel. I have tried the help files with no results.
Thank you for A/all your help, time in this matter.

    Question 1
Have you looked at Data Validation? You can reference named ranges on other sheets. See attached picture
