Need help with the FILL feature (Excel 2002)

Does anyone know how I can use the Fill to automatically Fill down 4,000 rows, or a quicker way instead of manually clicking and dragging down the columns.

    1. If you already have data in, say, A1:A4000, and a formula in B1, you can double click the fill grip of cell B1 to fill down to B4000.

    2. If you have a formula in B1, you can use any method you like to select B1:B4000 (e.g. Ctrl+G, type B1:B4000, press Enter), then select Edit | Fill | Down.

As an alternative to "(e.g. Ctrl+G, type B1:B4000, press Enter)", typing only the cell ref you want to select to, and doing a SHIFT/ENTER will select from the current cell.

If you are entering the initial data, a CTRL/ENTER will put your data into all highlighted cells.
