Automate the saving of attachments (Office 2000/XP)

A colleague of mine has a large number of emails sent to him from contractors containing CSV downloads of work completed. He asked me to find a solution (if there is one) that when an email arrives from the named contractor the attachment in the email is saved to a particular server folder. (He has a separate program that picks up these files from the folder and uploads them to a database).

Is there a way I can get Outlook to do this? At present we are using Exchange 5 soon to upgrade to Exchange 2000 if that helps

You could write some VBA to do this, but a shrinkwrap might be better (more flexible and possibly cheaper) in the long run. Go the the slipstick URL below and check out the housekeeping link.

    Thanks OldDog

I also found a freeware site at Simtel which is a freeware site. It is too late on a Friday to test some of the downloads though <img src=/S/doze.gif border=0 alt=doze width=15 height=15>, maybe Monday
