    User Profiles XP Home (XP)

I had a question from a Lounge user and suggested he ask here, but he's fairly new and may not do so. Let me ask his question for him. Sometime ago we had a couple of threads on copying or migrating user profiles in Win XP at <post#=213173>post 213173</post#> and <post#=215600>post 215600</post#>. I use XP Pro, so I don't know this answer - is the same "profile copying" feature available in the HOME version?

(My Computer, Properties, Advanced, User Profiles, Settings, Copy To)

I dunno. He asked me the question off-line, so I was kinda hoping he'll see this thread.....

I was told that it does Doc. Has he tried My Computer, Properties, Advanced, User Profiles, Settings, Copy To? Here is a comparison of the two and there differences. Home Or Pro

Re: User Profiles XP Home (XP)

I had a quick play with this on my XP Home setup and it seems to work as advertised. That is, the (My Computer, Properties, Advanced, User Profiles, Settings, Copy To) functionality behaves as per your experience in the threads you referred to.
