    Calendar help (Outlook 2000)

I need a quick answer to this question: As we all know, Outlook will bold the dates on the monthly calendar where you have appointments. Currently, appointments are shown in bold on the calendar through February or March of 2004. Meaning that if you have an appointment in June of 2004, the preview of that month will not show a bold date. Is there anyway to fix this? I have someone who needs his appointments to show at least until 2006.

    Thanks.

This is picked up from your published free/busy time, which defaults to 3 months. Sounds like what you are seeing. Go to Tools, Options, Calendar Options, Free/Busy to change this.

Oops. I didn't see the 2nd part. You can't do the 2006 part. Free/busy only covers 12 months: 1 past and 11 future. I've never heard of any way around this, or any utilities that can help. Maybe someone else has.

Actually, I just went in, and made the change to hold 36 months of Free/Busy time on our server, and created appointments in 2005 and 2006, and saw the bold days pop up. Looks like it's doing what we want.

Cool, I think you slipped one in on MS! Their FAQs don't mention changing the server-side window.
