    Visual Studio Integration (Office 2003)

    Folks,

Anyone noticed this MSDN article ?
Just installed the various tools mentioned and it seems to work... VERY promising, IMHO

It would be more promising if it weren't limited to a retrofit for two applications out of the entire Office suite. <img src=/S/bummer.gif border=0 alt=bummer width=15 height=15>

Re: Visual Studio Integration (Office 2003)

For Office 2003, it will still be necessary to use VBA for multiple versions macros and to transport macros with templates, documents and workbooks.

The real integration is alleged to be scheduled for Office 12.

Not to mention that .NET Code is not secure. With VBA, one can compile VB DLLs and protect the source. With .NET, best you can do is obfuscate the source.
