Explorer problem (XP)

I'm having a problem in explorer in that everytime I'm in explorer and click the right mouse button, I get a message saying there is a error and explorer closes and do I want to report this error. It isn't isolated to any particular file types and happens wether I'm in the HDD, A drive or a CD.

Has anyone else come across this problem and if so is there a fix.

    Thanks in advance
    Dax

Dax, you might be interested in this article that was originally posted to NTBugTraq. I don't know if it's the same thing, but it's possible:

Explorer 100% utilization in Windows XP[/list]The article name isn't descriptive of your problem, but it sounds like the same thing.

    Thanks for the info WyllyWylly

I checked out the article and yes sometimes it works by selecting the file with the left mouse button first then using the right mouse button, bit not all the time.

I have a few other minor little annoyances in Windows at the moment, so I'm going to reinstall XP and see if that helps.

    Thanks again

    Cheers
