Differentiate between mdb & mde (Acc 97 sr2 on 95b)

Is there a way (now thinking while writing) to pull the name of the database so I can look at the .md? code to see which version of the front end is running? I want to write code that will work only if the frontend is mdb.

Explanation: With our 7 user system, 5 of us use .mde files while I and the Accounts lady use .mdb. This is so that I can make small changes just for the accounts side without having to make everyone get an updated version of the mde as is how the system is currently set.

CurrrentDb.Name will give you the full path and filename of the current database, that is, the front end. If you look at just the extension using Right(CurrentDb.Name, 3), that will tell you it's been given an mdb or an mde extension. Of course, that isn't the same thing as actually telling you whether the file is *really* an mdb or mde, but it should serve the purpose in this case.
