Linking calendar files (2002/ Win XP)

Hello,

I'm new here, so please excuse me if this has been posted in the past:

In my company, each person is assigned a public folder with their teaching assignments placed in it. We have viewing rights to this folder, but not update rights. We also have the default calendar folder on our Outlook in which we can keep our personal appointments and reminders.

I'd like to have these two folders linked, if possible, so that when I view the linked result I can see my teaching assignments and my personal appointments. I don't want to just copy my teaching assignments from the public folder into my calendar, because if things change or are added to my public assignment folder, I would miss them.

Is there a way to link or dynamically combine the listings in two folders?

You have a partial solution since you use OutlookXP. It's called Group Schedules. To give this a look-see: 1) click on your calendar; 2) Actions Menu, View Group Schedules; 3) Click New and give it a name. The next screen will let you add calendars from either your address book or public folders.

Yes, thanks. But I am of course spoiled by the one month views, the one week views, etc., that the calendar provides. <img src=/S/crybaby.gif border=0 alt=crybaby width=15 height=15>

Is there a way to view this group schedule in a monthly format instead of scrolling along the days?
