    using HTMLDocument in ASP

    I'm having trouble with my vbscript code that tries to instantiate and use an HTMLDocument object in ASP. I'm getting an error of "invalid ProgID" when I do the following in my ASP page:

    dim html
    set html = server.CreateObject("MSHTML.HTMLDocument")
    html.body.innerHTML = strHTML

    Does anyone know how to instantiate this object so that it works? BTW, my web server is IIS 5.0 on a windows 2000 server machine.

    Re: using HTMLDocument in ASP

    I've always thought of that as a "client side" control. I'm not sure it's available on the server side, where (as you probably know) you typically use the Response.Write method to create your document. Any special reason you need to use MSHTML?
