    Clicking on Links Freezes Programs

I though this was an Outlook97 problem, but now I think it's an IE5.5 problem. CLicking on a link to a web page, but not an email address, freezes Outlook and will not open IE. I've discovered my search engine, Copernic 2000 also exhibits the same problem if I click on a web page link. (Operating System: NT4.0)

    Anyone have a solution?

I'd try clearing you temporary files (IE Tools | Internet Options).
    (It may reset/delete your cookies though - off-hand I can't remember.)

I had a user with similar, but opposite problem. <img src=/S/question.gif border=0 alt=question width=15 height=15> (If he clicked an email link it wouldn't open a new message.) Turned out to be a glitch in Word. Fixed by re-installing Office, form Control Panel - Add/Remove Program - Add/Remove Office - Reinstall. Mind that was Win98.
