    R5120210.i## files in C:\ (XP SP2)

    I have a series of these files in my root. Any ideas why they are there?

    First of all, update Virus Definitions on your AntiVirus program and perform full system scan.

    Usually such mysterious files indicate a virus.

    Did that yesterday and just scanned the root again for fun. Nothing.

    Have you run Spybot are Adware?

    Adaware updated today found nothing.
