Drop down box on query (Access 97)
Hi, When writing a query I am puting the criteria in the appropriate box each time. However, is it possible to have a drop down box here which displays the criteria instead of having to type it in all the time.

Do you mean that you would want to have a dropdown box for criteria in query design view? If so, the answer is no, as far as I know. What would you expect the dropdown box to display?
If you mean that you have created a query with a parameter, so that you are prompted for a value when you open the query, the answer is still no, but you can create a form with a combo box (the "official" name of a dropdown box) and use the value of the combo box as query parameter. Instead of something like [Enter city here], you could have [Forms]![frmSelect]![cbxCity] - this refers to the value of a combo box named cbxCity on a form named frmSelect. The form must be open for this to work, otherwise you'll be prompted for a value.
