    Text size (6.0.2800.1106.xsp1.020828-192)

I followed a WOPR suggestion for altering XP's default font settings for viewing files. Is it possible to set the text size setting for IE so that it always opens at the same setting (e.g. "smaller")? If so, how?

My understanding is that you simply choose the Text size you want and close IE. The next time you open it, the size has been saved.

However, there are many 'gotchas' to this simple scenario...

    I agree with R2, the save should be automatic. <img src=/S/scratch.gif border=0 alt=scratch width=25 height=29>

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!

Barry, see this if you also use Outlook. Although it references W95,W98 and Office 2000, it also happens with WXP, Office XP and IE6.

Also, if you have Eudora installed as an email client and you have MS viewer checked in "Viewing Mail" that can cause this problem.

Those are some of the 'gotchas'...
