    Function is not available in expressions... (2002)

    I am trimming the name in the Row Source of a combo box:
    Trim([NameLast]) &

    This usually means that there is a problem with references. It will have to be solved on the machines that show the error message.
    Open the database (with the Shift key down if necessary to bypass the startup options)
    Switch to the Visual Basic Editor (Alt+F11)
    Select Tools | References...
    Look for references beginning with MISSING.
    Note which ones they are, then uncheck them, and click OK.
    Switch back to Access and test if you can open the query.
    Post back if you still have problems.
