    How Do I . . . Public Folder Permissions

A user who is now on Maternity Leave set up a Public Folder that stores E-mail addresses and Distribution Lists. A coworker needs to edit one of the addresses, as it has changed. However, she gets a message that she doesn't have permission, but we can't see any way to grant her permission. I presume this is possible? Could someone please provide the how-to for this?

    Thanks in advance.

No Problem. I'm only back today, as I was on a course on Friday.

    Thanks in advance.

Re: How Do I . . . Public Folder Permissions

Sorry for taking so long. Had to do real work at work. Hate it when that interrupts other things. Thought we had Exchnage 2k running now but stil have 5.5. However, I'm pretty sure that if you can run the Exchange system manager you can set the permissions you wish. Start the Exchange system manager. Locate the public folder in question. In its properties there should be either a tab or button for client permissions. That should be where you can set the options. If my vague explanation isn't enough try posting your question in the MS exchange server administration newsgroup - microsoft.public.exchange.admin. They've got a bunch of very talented people who respond.

Re: How Do I . . . Public Folder Permissions

No worries! Thanks for taking the time and making the effort!

As you say, Exchange System Manager Properties and Permissions was the way to go. I need to snoop around Exchange a lot more, as I definitely don't know it as well as I should.

    Thanks again!
