Programming Equation Editor in Word 2000 (Word 2000 SR-1)

Hi all and thanks for the help in advance. I am currently trying to create an instance of an equation through the equation editor 3.0 programmatically. I have been able to create the instance of the equation but have not yet been able to figure out how to insert text with the equation programmatically. So far I have the following code to create the instance:

Set myequation = Selection.InlineShapes.AddOLEObject(ClassType:="Eq uation.3", FileName:="", _
LinkToFile:=False, DisplayAsIcon:=False)

Can anyone help me with the rest?

Thanks Much,
M. Berry

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's as far as you will get. You can add an Equation object, but there is no programming interface for the Equation Editor itself.
