Outlook drag and drop

I'm sorry if this is an old chestnut, but I've looked everywhere and can't find an answer.

I am writing a VB6 project onto which I wish to drag and drop an Outlook message (Outlook 98). How do I get the message from Outlook? If I interrogate the data object passed using Text format, I just get basic information in the format of the current View set in the Outlook folder. I want to be able to access all the fields in the message, but especially From, To, Subject and Body.

    Can anyone help?

    Re: Outlook drag and drop

you need to drill down to the folder and mail level, see http://www.slipstick.com for information on programming outlook.

you may need to use cdo for some of the information. http://www.cdolive.com

Drilling down isn't a problem - the problem is how to identify the message in the VB application

    Thanks
