    Adding Non-contiguous cells (Excel 97 SR2)

    I know this must be simple, but so am I. How to add a long series of non-contiguous cells that are located in a repeating interval without having to input each cell address individually. Example attached. Note that the summary table where all the adding is done would actually be on a different worksheet from all the input values. Thanks.

    How about this: Put this in Cell B20 and copy to B2022.

    <pre>=SUMIF($A$4:$A$16,$A20,B$4:B$16)</pre>

    Then if you "move the summary table" to a new sheet it should redefine itself for where you move it.

    Wow! What a great function. You have no idea how much time you have saved me. Many many thanks.
