    Deleting Spam (2000)

Once I've collected a fair amount of spam in the "junk" folder, I'd like to delete it, but not contaminate my "Deleted" box, as I might want to go back there and find something. Is there a way I can delete completely from a "junk" folder, without having the contents pass into the "Delete" folder?

Select all items in the folder (Ctrl+A), then press Shift+Delete. The Shift key bypasses Deleted Items. (Shift+Delete works in Windows Explorer too - a handy but dangerous feature.)
