Print picture received in OE (OE6)

I received in a recent email from my daughter a picture...both as a .jpg and the full-blown large picture under the header (etc.)
The full-blown picture is exactly what she wants printed out...but I have no idea how to do this from OE.
I tried using Irfanview to resize the jpg using 'inches', but no joy.
I only use Irfanview to resize desktop screenshots...and I am not a photo person at all.

    Have I confused you yet?
Can anyone help me with this?
    Help is always appreciated.

If you save the attachment to a convenient place on your hard drive, you should be able to get at it with any software you like.

I've read that Qimage is great for printing photos, but I've never tried it (or priced it) myself.

Thanks...just d/led it...way too confusing for me to understand.

Guess I will have to get the original and take it to the local PrintShoppe and have them print it out.

Thanks again for the suggestion...just not my 'thing'.

Hi Lonnie, what picture program are you using? It really is simple to print out a picture, I have several programs I use, all work easily. Seems a shame to waste money getting a print shop to do it.

I don't use any picture program. Not into pictures at all...haven't even used the digipix camera I got as a present from son for Xmas 2000.

    HI Lonnie.

Why not print it right from Irfanview? Since you already have it and have used it to resize the picture, just open it in Irfanview however you did that last time and then click the File menu and choose Print. Then click OK and it should print no problem.

Re: Print picture received in OE (OE6)

Sorry, but I didn't resize it at all...couldn't figure out how to do that.
Thanks anyway...decided it was easier and cheaper (time wasted, braincells lost, frustration level, etc) to just take it (the original) to the PrintShoppe and have them resize and print it out (it was a portrait drawing).
Like I stated, I'm not into 'doing' pictures - resizing from digital camera jpegs, etc.
